The jazz fusion collective Snarky Puppy will headline the 2027 GroundUp Music Festival, scheduled for Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14. The event is set to take place at the Miami Beach Bandshell, located at 7275 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. This marks the continuation of an annual tradition that began in 2017.

The festival lineup includes a variety of musical styles and performers. Guitarist Lionel Loueke and vocalist Gretchen Parlato are listed as distinctive voices in modern jazz. Guitarists Charlie Hunter and Ella Feingold are expected to perform a mix of jazz, blues, rock, and funk. The roster also features Victoria Canal, a London-based singer-songwriter specializing in indie-pop, and the New Orleans-based funk group The Rumble.

Additional performers include Lau Noah, a musician born in Catalonia and based in New York, as well as the instrumental duo Domi & JD Beck. The duo plays a blend of progressive jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music. The announcement describes the group's approach as alchemizing these diverse genres.

Friday, March 12, will serve as an exclusive all-day fundraising event with a capacity of 150 attendees. Participants in this event will have access to closed rehearsals with Snarky Puppy and other guest artists. The day includes cocktails and a dinner with the artists, ending with private shows. A full set by Snarky Puppy is confirmed, while other featured artists for the private shows are to be announced.

Saturday and Sunday nights will conclude with Family Dinner shows. During these performances, Snarky Puppy will back a diverse array of music icons as guests. The festival also offers daily interactive workshops, masterclasses, and panels featuring members of Snarky Puppy and other guest artists. Late-night jams are planned for an after-hours venue that has not yet been announced.

Single day general admission tickets start at $118, and weekend passes cost $211 plus fees. Tickets for the GroundUP Foundation Benefit on Friday are priced at $494 plus fees and are tax-deductible. Premium passes, private cabanas, all-in passes, and late night passes are also available for purchase.

Ticket sales are available through tickets.venuepilot.com. The festival runs from 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, through Sunday, March 14. More information is available at groundupmusicfestival.com.
