Bob Dylan will open a new chapter of his archival releases on November 6.

Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings will issue The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1976 Live Recordings, a 39-disc box set containing 381 tracks. Of those recordings, 371 are being released for the first time.

The collection documents the second leg of the 1976 tour, which comprised 27 dates. The tour began on April 18 in Lakeland, Florida, and ended on May 25 in Salt Lake City. The ensemble featured Joan Baez, who reunited with Dylan for songs including "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Railroad Boy." Other musicians listed in the archival materials include bassist Rob Stoner, violinist Scarlet Rivera, drummer Howie Wyeth, guitarists Mick Ronson and Steven Soles, David Mansfield, and T Bone Burnett.

The box set also includes material connected to the Fort Collins, Colorado, show that served as the basis for the Hard Rain television special and album. The package contains a booklet with liner notes by music journalist Mikal Gilmore and rare photographs. T Bone Burnett described the tour's impact in a statement, calling it the first national punk rock tour.

A separate three-LP release titled The Rolling Thunder Revue: Fort Worth, TX 1976 will arrive on the same day. It features the complete May 16 concert at the Tarrant County Convention Center Arena, newly remixed from original multitrack tapes. Dylan has already previewed the release with a performance of "Going, Going, Gone" from that show.

This 2026 release follows the 2019 box set, The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings, which covered the first leg of the tour. The new set adds to the official catalog of recordings from the following year, making available performances that had remained unreleased for five decades.
